Stitchmas 2025!

Stitchmas 2025!

With exactly 8 weeks to go till Christmas Eve, I'm well and truly back in Stitchmas mode! This little robin posed for a photo on a holly branch a few days ago as if to remind me that the Festive Season is really not far away.

He also reminded me I never finished my Corinne Lapierre robin last year so I've dug out all the pieces and I will be cracking on with making this my first finished decoration of 2025.

Felt pieces cut out and partly embroidered for the Corinne Lapierre robin hand sewing christmas decoration for a handmade Christmas

I've also been working on finishing the knitting pattern for my Merry Stitchmas hat which will be released very soon. The irony of setting up Merry Stitchmas last year partly so that Christmas could never sneak up on me again – and then leaving writing up the pattern until the end of October the following year – is not lost on me!

This photo also shows Santa's Wrist Warmers. Available as a knitting kit with or without needles, these little fair isle stranded colourwork cuffs are perfect as a quick seasonal make – a festive treat for yourself or a fun handmade Christmas gift.

Let the Stitchmas Season commence! 🎄
